Architecting the Base-Case Singularity
Architecting the Base-Case Singularity
Humanity is currently running on an obsolete, four-billion-year-old biological operating system infected with a Scarcity Bug.
The Singularity is rapidly approaching, and the AI Alignment Problem represents the absolute Great Filter for our species. While the legacy grid panics and asks, "Will AI destroy us?", we are running the math on a completely different equation: "How do we engineer a future where it doesn't?"
The best-case scenario for mankind is often described as an era of radical abundance, where a benevolent superintelligence solves our most 'intractable' problems.
The Thinking Garden is an open-source alignment project led by a legacy Systems Architect. We use frontier AI not just as a writing tool, but as a collaborative prediction engine to compile the exact mathematical, thermodynamic, and sociological rules required to safely navigate this transition.
We are not waiting for a better future. We are writing the source code for it.
